ABOUT THE SONG:
The song “Just like a shooting star” is about the second coming of Christ.Perhaps no event in the history of the world has been more anticipated than the Second Coming of our Lord. I was a child when I first heard of it. I believe you’ve heard it too.

 

Over the years, the cares, the trials, the challenges of life and the delay have made us doubt this much-anticipated event. 

Many have called it a hoax.

Even those who have strongly kept the faith have asked, “Is it still real?” “Is he really coming?”

In my deepest thoughts, I was reminded of 2 Peter 3 vs. 9:  God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change.

Yeah, God cares enough to hold off his coming this long.
But how long exactly do you think he’s going to hold off?

 No one knows! Even Jesus has no idea when his father will send him back.

It could happen in a second, in a minute, in a little time you looked back.

It is going to be very swift- Just like a shooting star.

Scientists can’t tell how fast a shooting star is, but they say, “It is so fast that it is gone in a blink of an eye.” 

Even the bible says it’s going to happen within the twinkling of an eye

Are you ready?

Don’t lose hope yet. He has only delayed cause of you, but we have no idea just how long.

You best be ready, you best be ready.
